A hotspot is a physical location where users can
access the internet, typically using Wi-Fi, via a
wireless local area network (WLAN). In Mikrotik
CRM, it's a feature allowing easy internet access
management for clients.
Clients when they connect to your WiFi are
redirected to a captive portal page where they
will need to select the package to use and pay,
depending on your settings, they can be connected
automatically or they can get a voucher which they
can connect with if disconnected before their time
expires.
When the period of use is exhausted, they are
disconnected and redirected to the purchase page
again to re-purchase the package.
